Hi there, Donovan. Let me provide additional information about creating backup copy in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

The backup feature is only available in QBO Advanced. If you're subscribed to QuickBooks Simple start, Essentials or Plus, you'll need to upgrade  to take advantage of the feature.

 

However, if you're not interested in upgrading, you can consider using a third-party app that can export all data in QBO.

 

Also, before you create a backup, you'll need to turn on this feature first by going to your Settings, then select Backup company.

 

To create a one-time backup, you can follow these steps on how to:

 

  1. Go to Settings, then select Backup company.
  2. Select Add company.
  3. Click Search for a company or firm dropdown, then hit Next.
  4. Locate the company you want to backup.
  5. Select the three dots from the Action column, then click Run backup.

Additionally, you can run a financial report for you to know the company's financial status accurately.
