Thanks for posting in the Community, dorretti.

It's good to know that you were able to check the deduction set up in your payroll account. Let's check the Classification set up for your Child support deduction category. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click on Payroll Settings.
  3. Click on Deduction Categories.
  4. Select the Child support category.
  5. Locate the Classification field and check if it is set to Child support deduction or Child support garnishee.

If this has been checked, let's create an updated pay event to see the STP report is showing the figures.

Here's how to submit an updated pay event:

  1. Click on the Payroll tab, select Reports.
  2. Click on Single Touch Payroll.
  3. Click on Create update event.
  4. Select the Financial year and Pay schedule.
  5. Click on Create.

All employees under the pay schedule selected will show together with their year-to-date figures. Check if the child deduction is now showing or not.

If the issue persist, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, our Care team can check your payroll file and ask your data in a secure form.
