Hi service-vpnz-co-,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

If you edit or delete a transaction that was previously reconciled, this will affect the beginning balance on your next bank reconciliation. Once you go to the Reconcile page, you will see an error which says your beginning balance is off or when you go to the reconciliation report you'll be able to see the details of the unreconciled or edited transaction.

To fix this, we'll need to manually reconcile the edited transaction in the bank register. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select Account history on your bank account.
  3. Select the transaction you want to reconcile to expand the view.
  4. Review the check column. Select the checkbox. This changes the letter in the box. Keep selecting it until the box is showing R (means reconciled).
  5. Select Save.
