Thanks for the clarification, Sara.

Allow me to add additional troubleshooting steps to help you get around this issue.

I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Desktop App to isolate this issue. I’ll guide you how.

For Windows 10:

  1. Select the Start menu.
  2. Go to Settings, then select System.
  3. From the left pane, select Apps features.
  4. Choose the QuickBooks Windows app then select the Uninstall button.

For Windows 8.1 and 7:

  1. Select the Start menu.
  2. Go to Control Panel then select Programs.
  3. Under Programs and Features, select Uninstall a program.
  4. Choose the QuickBooks Windows app then select the Uninstall button.

For Mac:

  1. Drag the QuickBooks Windows app from the Applications folder to the Trash.
  2. To completely remove the app, go to Finder then choose Empty Trash.

Then to reinstall your app, you can refer to the How do Install the app? Section in this article: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Support team. They have the proper tools to securely check your account and investigate the reason why the reports won’t load in your QBO Desktop App.

Furthermore, once everything is all set, check out this article for your future reference: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online. This can walk you through the steps on how to generate a report to show the data you need.

In case you have other concerns or questions managing your reports, you’re always welcome to tag me in your reply. It’s my pleasure to help and keep you in working order. Have a good one and stay safe!
