We definitely need the ability to edit the customer database directly. When there's hundreds or thousands of similar changes to make, a database edit can be done in minutes, while manual entry could take hours.

Closest I've gotten so far is to program a macro to make changes using an outside program, but that is limited in function and prone to error. We know the customer data is already organized in a hidden database, letting us edit our own databases shouldn't be a problem. Market it as an 'advanced feature' if needed, since it may not appeal to the casual user but would be a powerful tool for businesses that have grown within Quickbooks Online.
