Adding to my previous message, we just tried AGAIN to go from a fresh install of QBTD version R15_27 to the latest version, which when we upgraded was R15_82. R15_81 is not the latest version.

We did this software upgrade by selecting Help > Update QuickBooks Desktop with "Reset" option selected.

After upgrading to version R15_82, to follow the other suggestions on the QB forums, we repaired the software by selecting Control Panel > Uninstall a program > QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2024 > Repair.

HOWEVER, after running this Repair step, QBDT shows our version has been downgraded back to version R15_27!!!

It doesn’t seem like “Repairing” from the Control Panel should downgrade QBDT to the previous version.

Can you please advise.
