Hi there, @123vg.

I appreciate you for joining this thread concerning updating customer information in QuickBooks. I'd like to clarify some information to provide a better resolution to your concern.

Would you mind sharing what specific functionality you are concerned about? Is this about mass updating the customer information after importing it into QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)? If so, we can follow, @Aldren18, suggestions about editing it directly within the customer details page. I'll also add this article for complete guidelines: Add and edit multiple customers, vendors, and items.

However, if you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO), the option for mass update is unavailable. Although it doesn't have a built-in tool for mass updating customers, there are alternative solutions that can help simplify this process. Some third-party providers offer applications integrating with QuickBooks Online to enable bulk editing capabilities.

To look for an appropriate application, check out this website: QuickBooks Apps Store. Or execute the steps below within your QBO account:

  1. Log in to QBO Company as an admin.
  2. Navigate your cursor to the Apps menu located from the left navigation pane.
  3. Then, select Find Apps. You will be routed to the Apps window, where you can see an application that supports QBO integration.
  4. Start looking for similar apps or if you have something in mind, locate this by typing the application's name on the search bar.

Then, follow the on-screen instructions to connect this app to your QBO. For further guidelines with the integration, you may reach out to third-party app support.

If you have additional questions about managing customers in QuickBooks, @123vg, please don't hesitate to add a reply to this thread. I'm just a post away to help you.
