I understand the importance of organizing your active customer and project list for easier access. Currently, the option to inactivate projects is unavailable in QuickBooks Online.
In the meantime, you can either Delete the project or Mark as completed. Once done, it can't restored or made active again. I can guide you through the process.
- Go to the Projects menu.
- Look for the project's name, then click the Horizontal dot under the Action column.
- Choose either Mark as completed or Delete project.
- Tap Yes to confirm.

- Go to the Gear menu and then select Feedback.
