Hello there, cth338mag1.

Please note that QuickBooks has recently introduced an updated process for upgrading from an older to a newer version. As a result, downloading the 2015 and 2018 trial editions is currently unavailable. Allow me to provide further details about this and ensure you can modify your product smoothly.

The 3-year life cycle is no longer needed when moving your subscription to a later edition, which is why the 2015 and 2018 trial versions are not available. You can now upgrade instantly from QBDT 2012 to 2022, 2023, or 2024, depending on which option you have.

When a recent version of QuickBooks is available and you get a message when you open QuickBooks, here's how to upgrade:

  1. When you’re ready, select Upgrade Now.
  2. Choose Keep old version on my computer if you want to keep your current QuickBooks. Then, select Let’s go.
  3. Click Open QuickBooks.

In case you don't see a prompt to upgrade, you can refer to this article on how you can perform the process: Upgrade QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, or Enterprise. This also provides steps on what methods to be taken if you make a one-time purchase of QuickBooks.

Lastly, you can read this article if you need details on what features are included in the QuickBooks Desktop 2024 release and how you can use them to benefit your business: What’s new in QuickBooks Desktop 2024.

It's always a pleasure to have you here in the Community, cth338mag1. Don't hesitate to mention me in the comment section below if you still have concerns related to upgrading your product. Stay safe, and have a nice day!
