First, you can update your Windows version to the latest release and ensure your new computer meets the system requirements.

 

You can then perform the migration process again. If you still get the same error. You can manually move your QuickBooks Desktop software.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Install your QBDT software on the new computer.
  2. Create a backup company file from your company.
  3. Restore it to the new one.
  4. Then download the latest tax table after moving your company file.
