On several customer's computers I had to uninstall the last three years and reinstall them with the latest installer for each year in the order of each year. It appears that the latest 2023 patch fixes 2021, but not if 2021 was updated after 2023 was updated. If that happens, then both have to be uninstalled and reinstalled in the correct order. Since 2022 was also affected for some, I just did all three in sequence and it seems to fix it. A colossal expense of IT hours when there are many computers for many customers affected. Intuit's response was to only run one year of QuickBooks per computer. That's out of touch with reality though.
