There's no exact instance of how frequently an issue occurs when moving QBDT files to another computer. Once we make sure you're using a supported operating system, you'll always be able to transfer your data successfully. 

If you're trying to move QuickBooks Desktop 2017 to another computer, let's ensure to meet these OS requirements to avoid errors. 

• Windows 10, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed
• Windows 8.1 (Update 1), all editions including 64-bit, natively installed
• Windows 7 SP1, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed
• Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2008 R2

Since your device is using Win 11, I'd recommend downgrading your OS to Win 10 as suggested by Fiat Lux - ASIA. 

After successfully reinstalling QBDT 2017 to another computer, here's what you might need to do:
 

• Sign in to your payroll and payment services.
• Sign in to Intuit Data Protect and set up your backup schedule.
• Move over any additional company files from your old computer to your new computer.
• Create a backup file: making a backup of your company file on your new computer is always a good idea.
