Hi there, vtalley13.

I appreciate you for performing the troubleshooting steps shared above to fix the issue about the connection with your bank in QuickBooks Online. This isn't the kind of experienced I want you to feel and I can see how important it is to properly link your bank to QuickBooks without any error. I'll ensure you'll be routed to the right person so you're able to report this matter so you can get back on track as soon as possible.

As mentioned by my colleague, banking error 106 means that QuickBooks is incapable to find your account on your bank or Financial Institution's (FI) website. Since the issue continues to occur, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and be able to investigate the cause of the 106 error that keeps appearing.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Account.
  2. At the top right, click the Help icon.
  3. Choose the Assistant section.
  4. Type your concern in the Type something field.
  5. Click Talk to a human.
  6. Click I still need a human.
  7. Click the Get help from a human.
  8. You'll be routed into the How can we help? page. Then, select callback or how you want to contact them and fill in the information.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to see other various banking errors and how to fix them: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
