Buy nowI am also having issues with my Venmo (personal) account and Quickbooks Online. I have been using QBO for several months and when I set up my account I didn't have any issues connecting Venmo as one of my banks. All of a sudden, yesterday, I received error message 106, saying that my Venmo account cannot be connected because it appears to be closed. I have not closed my Venmo account and it works perfectly when I log in. I have been on the phone with Venmo and they see no problems on their end. I spoke to QBO and they said I need to contact Venmo...circle goes round and round with no resolution.
I cleared the cache for my browser to make sure that wasn't the issue. I disconnected my Venmo account yesterday and tried to reconnect it...still doesn't allow me to reconnect. Same error message 106 over and over. So frustrating! Nobody at QBO seems to have a clue how to fix this. The whole point of QBO is to have automatic transaction records...now I see I'm supposed to manually download all these transactions. Just ridiculous. Please figure this out...everyone uses Venmo these days!
