CYBER MONDAY SALE 70% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends 12/5
Buy nowI know why I cannot: QB is greedy. 2008 worked the same but worked without internet. I am downloading a physical file from my bank that contains information (internet needed for this) and uploading said information into QB (internet not needed for this). Please enlighten us as to why a physical document containing information needs to have internet access in order for the software, which works even without an internet connection (non-cloud based), to access and import said information.
I'll give an example of the same systematic workings for every program out there. I download an update to a USB drive, take it to a computer with software loaded on it, without an internet connection, and upload information into said program. All without internet.
The only reason this function wouldn't work is because QB put a block in their software during an update to FORCE customer to have to spend money annually, even if from a usability stand point they do not.
