Once you upgrade your version of QuickBooks, you'll want to go to the Downloads & Updates page to get the download link for your version of QuickBooks. To download the installation file, you can follow the steps below:
- From the Downloads & Updates page, select your country, product, and version.
If you don't know what version you use, see Not sure what version you use?
- Select Download.
Then, you can install QuickBooks on your computer. In addition, if you’re upgrading to a newer version (year) of QuickBooks Desktop, you’ll also need to upgrade your company files so you can keep using them. You only have to upgrade a company file once.
