We have the same issue. Trying to set up QB Premier to run on 2 different computers at the same time, with a multi-user license. Part of the challenge is i'm hosting the file on a Windows Virtual Machine on my M1 Macintosh. How does the second user access the company file on my computer? 

Secondly, is there any way we can do this when we're not in the same office at the same time using the same wifi? I'd love to be able to do this remotely.
