This is ridiculous! Even the Quicken (very minimal and outdated) program my company was using before you were able to track expenses by line item. For example, we have multiple clients. That incur many expenses. I should be able to tag each line item on an expense since there are multiple clients on one expense in many cases. I would have NEVER instructed the owners to allow me to switch over to Quickbooks Online had I known this was not a feature! Just because an expense is a single transaction, does not mean all the line items within that expense are for the same tag. That makes absolutely no sense!
