Let's update your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release so you won't be prompted with a message about critical updates needed to be installed.
- Go to the Help menu.
- Choose Update QuickBooks.
- Select the Update Now tab.
- Click the Reset Update checkbox to clear all previous update downloads.
- Once ready, click Get Updates to start the download.
- When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
- When prompted, accept the option to install the new release.
