As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to convert your company data from QuickBooks Desktop for Mac to QuickBooks Online with the inventory. But you do not need to worry, you can download a trial version of QuickBooks Desktop for windows for your data conversion. I'll show you.
To start with, here's a couple of articles you can use to download and install the trial version and proceed with the conversion:
Once done, here's how you can convert from the windows version to the online version so you can start doing business with inventory:
- Go to Home.
- Press the Ctrl and 1 key on your keyboard.
- Press again the Ctrl, B, and Q keys on your keyboard.
- Click OK.
- Select Get started.
- Under Review company file, click Select destination.
- Log in with your QuickBooks Online credentials and complete the authentication.
- Choose how you track your inventory.
- Select your online company.
- Click Replace.
