I appreciate you for coming up with the workaround to import employee time data into QuickBooks. I know how beneficial it is to your business to import Intuit Interchange Format (IIF) files to QuickBooks by their employee numbers. However, the IIF file only imports the employee's names and payroll data from Intuit payroll services.
Once there's a duplicate imported name, list, or elements, the software will ask you to add special characters or numbers to the names. If the import is unsuccessful, the software automatically creates a new .IIF file for failed records with error descriptions. To troubleshoot the issue, see Improved IIF Import in QuickBooks 2019 and later for more details.
