Hi @info-barefootacc,

 

I'll walk you through on how you can remove imported bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Be advised, the option to batch delete transactions in your bank register is unavailable. Follow the steps below to delete the transactions:

 

  1. Highlight the Accounting tab.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Search for the bank account in question, then click to open it.
  4. On the list of transactions, tap on what you want to remove. The option to Delete the transaction will appear, press it. 
  5. Keep repeating the steps until you've removed all the transactions you don't need. 

If you want to have your bank transactions start from a certain date, you'll need to edit your CSV file so that it contains transactions from January 1, 2020, onwards. Check out this article for details: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files

 

Another option you have for removing multiple transactions in a bank register is by the use of 3rd party applications. You can visit our QuickBooks Apps Store and search for a 3rd party app that can cater to your need.
