Thank you for providing such a detailed description of your concerns, smnelson23. Yes, you can disconnect and reinitiate your Shopify integration from scratch. Let me discuss the specifics below.

You'll need to first Exclude the For review transactions associated with these platforms to prevent duplicate entries in your financial records. This will prevent QuickBooks from allowing the platforms to import transactions into the bank feed again.

Afterward, we can disconnect your Shopify and Etsy applications from QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Apps menu, then select Overview.
  2. Find the app you need to disconnect.
  3. Choose the dropdown menu next to Launch, then click Disconnect.
  4. Complete the short questionnaire.
  5. Hit Disconnect to remove the app from your company profile.

Next, you'll want to reconnect the applications. During this process, ensure you set a specific integration or look-back date to determine when you want transactions to start importing. This will help maintain the accuracy of your financial records in QBO.

Regarding your concern about auto-categorization, you may have configured bank rules for your Shopify and Etsy transactions. These rules could affect how transactions are categorized.

Given this, I suggest checking your bank rules setup. If you choose not to use this feature, you can Delete or Disable the rules according to your preferences. I'll add an image for visual reference.
