You can use a third-party application designed for data migration to successfully transfer your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) data into the QuickBooks Online (QBO) International version. Let me guide you, WILFRED.

Please note that direct migration from QBDT to QBO is only supported if both products are from the same region. Since you're using QBO International, you'll need to access your QBDT company file and manually export key data to Excel.

To assist you, there's an article that shows which data can be transferred from QBDT to QBO. It’s US-based, but the same principle apply for global version: Learn how terms and data transfer from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

After exporting the data, you can proceed with manually importing it into QBO.

Using a third-party migration service can simplify the process of transferring your data from QBDT to QBO Global. To explore this option:

  1. Visit the QBDT Marketplace.
  2. Use the Search tab to enter a keyword related to data migration from QBDT to QBO.
  3. Scroll through the available options and select a specific app that suits your needs.
