Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is an exceptional way of preparing and submitting your payroll seamlessly.  I'll be happy to provide some insight here!

 

When you're paying your staff with direct deposit and an error occurs, you can delete the payroll for an employee and go through the process to run payroll again, immediately or shortly after you hit 'finish payroll'.  

 

Here's how to delete a pay cheque:

 

1. From the left menu open Payroll and then Employees

2. Beneath Run payroll, click Pay cheque list

3. Locate and select the pay to Delete

Note:  If you don't see the option to Delete the item, it's too late to do this from your end

4. Hit Yes to confirm the action
