Let me step in and make sure this is sorted out. I've read the responses and I can see that they were intended for the old interface, BLG4589.

 

This is the reason why you can't see the Work location since QBO has already updated the Payroll Settings Page. If you're trying to update the employee's work location, follow these steps on how to change it:

 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and proceed to the Employees tab.
  2. Click the name of the employee and look for the Employment details section.
  3. Scroll-down to the Work location area, then select Add work location or select an existing one.
  4. Select Done.

You can also contact our phone or chat support teams if you're trying to change the location of the company or the business. One of our payroll agents will be the one to update the details in your account. Here's how: 

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner of your QBO account.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human" in the chatbox, then press Enter.
  3. Select Get help from a human.
  4. Click Chat with us or Have us call you.
