I updated our Desktop QuickBooks this afternoon after it wouldn't produce our 1099s with three to a page. That issue was fixed with the update, but I still couldn't print due the 1099s due to the fatal error when trying to align the page. It appears to me another update needs to be released with a fix to this issue.

You may receive a fatal error once your account is an outdated version or you missed some Windows update on your computer. To check the QuickBooks version, please press F2 to see the details.
Once confirmed that your account is outdated, I'd recommend updating it by following the steps below:
- Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Choose Update Now and check Reset Update.
- Click Get Updates to start the download.
- Restart QuickBooks, then re-open and install the new release.
