If you're subscribed to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Payroll Enhanced, we recommend ordering W-2 paper through us. This will make sure that your employees won’t have any issues when filing.

You can use a Blank 3-part perforated paper or a Pre-printed 4-part perforated paper. Just go to QuickBooks Checks & Supplies to get your W-2 kit.

After creating your W-2s and e-filing them, you can print and send them to your employees by January 31. You can also upload them to QuickBooks Workforce so they can view their W-2s online.
