In QuickBooks Online, you have the option to file either CA DE 9 or CA DE 9C. Simply proceed to the Taxes menu to process 1 tab for CA DE9.

Here's how:

1. On the left pane, click Taxes. 
2. At the top left, choose Payroll Tax. 
3. Under Forms, select the Quarterly Forms link.
4. Find and select the form you want to open.
