For QuickBooks Online Payroll Core, you'll want to check the Tasks section of the Payroll menu. From there, you'll see the option to file the W-2.
- Gp to the Payroll menu and select Overview.
- From Tasks, select the Show more dropdown.
- Find the W-2 Copies A & D, then select File now.
- Select Annual Forms, then W-2 Copies A & D.
- Click Continue. Review the form, then tap Submit to authorize us if you wish to electronically file it.
In addition, if your auto pay and file turned on, Intuit will mail the W-2s copies of your employees. Otherwise, you’ll need to print it. For employees who are set up to QuickBooks Workforce can also see copies of their W-2s online.
