I have some information about QuickBooks service discontinuation (Disco) policy information.
With QuickBooks Pro bundle, you'll be experiencing the following scenarios after the discontinuation of the subscription:
- Whether you print your own W-2s or have them mailed, you will be able to view your employee W-2s in the Payroll Tax Center via a secure link in QuickBooks Desktop on January 10.
- W-2 forms will be available on the Tax Records tab starting January 9. All copies will be available by January 11 in QuickBooks Online Full Service payroll.
- Your access to QuickBooks Payroll Services live support will be discontinued.
- You'll no longer receive critical security updates resulting to a lost data or data damage.
- You can still access and print reports but we don't assure a complete data information, except for Pro Plus where you can no longer access the company file.
The best workaround I can suggest is to save your own copy of all the reports you need. Make sure to pay all taxes and liabilities before you discontinue the service.
