I appreciate you joining the thread, @CCT Claudia

The process provided by my peer above is the same even if you're using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. You can still run and export the Payroll Summary report that generates an Excel file with the payroll data you need for your W-2 and W-3 forms. Here's a quick recap of the steps and screenshots for your visual guide:

  1. Open QuickBooks and navigate to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Employees & Payroll and then choose Payroll Summary.

  3. Customize the report to include the necessary date range and employee details.
  4. Once everything's accurate, click the Excel dropdown at the top of the report.
  5. Choose Create New Worksheet to export the data to Excel.

This method works across different versions of QuickBooks Desktop, including those with Enhanced Payroll. For more information, check out this article: File your W-2 and W-3 forms

Moreover, you can save the current settings by clicking Memorize from the reports window. That way, you won’t have to go through the customization process again in case you need the same information in the future.

I'm willing to assist you further if you have more questions in mind about exporting reports or managing your W-2 and W-3 in QuickBooks Desktop. You can leave your comment below or post another questions so we can get back to you.
