I appreciate what you've done so far, GWNWUPDF. I'm here to guide you for assistance and ensure you get the help you need from the appropriate support.

As per checking for July 16, 2024 updates, Premium, and Elite customers can now track Payroll costs by customer, project, or class. With this, hours allocated by projects and classes in QuickBooks Time will automatically flow into Payroll. Customers can also directly add projects or classes to each employee's wages while running payroll depending on the product you are using.

However, if you still can't apply the coding from QBE Desktop to QBO Payroll, we have a designated department to assist you in setting up QuickBooks Time to map the classes and QBO receiving them as a Timesheet. I recommend contacting our Developer Support Team. They can thoroughly discuss this matter with you and provide the most relevant suggestions or resolutions.

Regarding your question about the process of using the coding from QBE Desktop payroll in QBO payroll is complicated due to the different structures and underlying architecture of the two systems. Although their functions may seem similar, their integration capabilities can vary significantly.

In addition, you can review this article to discover the different reports you can generate to review your payroll data: Learn about QuickBooks Time reports.

You can reply to this thread for inquiries about managing your QuickBooks Time financials. It's my priority to provide further guidance to any questions you have.
