Thank you for turning in the Community space for assistance in finding your previously filed 940, 941, and W3 forms, @Dougc83

I'll gladly walk you through how to find and print these payroll forms from the previous year in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

QBDT enables you to archive payroll forms after submission. As these forms are from last year's quarter, it's important to update your payroll tax tables to access your filing history. Once your payroll is updated, you can proceed to the File Forms tab to locate the payroll forms you require and print them. Here are the steps to navigate the program:

  1. Go to the Employee menu and select the Payroll Center.
  2. Click the File Forms section.
  3. Under Filing History, choose the Save Filings or E-Filings tab.
  4. Look for the payroll forms you want to view and print.

For more details about your filed payroll forms, please refer to this referenceView your previously filed tax forms and payments.

Furthermore, I am attaching an article that outlines alternative ways to print your W3 in QuickBooks Desktop: Print your W-2 and W-3 forms.

To gain a better view of your employee's total wages, deductions, and tax details in a particular period, you can also generate various payroll reports in QuickBooks.

I'll be eyeing for your reply if you have further questions about accessing your previously filed quarterly and annual forms or other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'm ready to help you out. Take care!
