You're right, @AlarmCompany

QuickBooks Online can only set up a policy yearly. It doesn't have the option to calculate the PTO based on the number of years and hours. I'll route you to the department that listens to customers' requests.

Since the system is unable to compute PTO for hours worked and tenure automatically, I recommend sharing your idea with our product developers. They can consider this for future updates depending on the number of requests. To proceed, follow the steps below to submit:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
  3. Share your suggestion, then click Next.

Visit this website to track your requests. Our blog will also update you with recent events and developments.

Here's an article you can refer to add or edit time off, vacation, and sick pay for your employees: Set up and track time off in payroll.

See this guide to learn how to assign or update pay schedules: Set up and manage payroll schedules.

If you have any further concerns about tracking the PTO, please don't hesitate to post them here. I'm always ready to assist you. Have a great day!
