Hi there, @4610. Let me share a few things about printing W2's in QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll.

 

Since this is your first time printing W-2 forms, we highly recommend ordering them through us to guarantee accurate printing and prevent any potential issues for your employees when they file their taxes. You can print the employee copies on Blank 3-part perforated paper or Pre-printed 4-part perforated paper. 

 

When deciding which form to use for your W-2s, the choice ultimately depends on your specific needs and preferences. You can print the entire W-2 blank form. However, it's important to note that using pre-printed forms is generally recommended to ensure accurate and compliant reporting. This can also save you time as you won't need to print as much information but only input the specific employee details using your software.


Here's how to order your W-2 kit (includes envelopes):

 

  1. Go to QuickBooks Checks & Supplies.
  2. Select Tax Products.
  3. Choose either Pre-Printed W-2 kits or Blank W-2 kits.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete your order.
