Welcome to the Community, @POWERS COATS. I'm here to share information about sending payroll in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

In sending payroll data ensure that QBDT is updated to the latest version and we know how important it is to be able to pay your employees on time. For now, we have received reports about the payroll service connection error. Our engineers are dedicated working and committed to resolving this as soon as possible. 

However, to ensure that you'll be notified, I suggest reaching out to our payroll support team so you'll be added to one of the lists of affected users. To do so, you can follow the steps provided below:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  3. Choose Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then click Continue.
  5. Sign in to your Intuit account and then Continue and proceed with Continue with my account.
  6. Pick to chat with us or Have us call you.

Furthermore, QuickBooks offers a different selection of payroll and employee reports that can help you track your payroll and employee expenses.
