Hi there, @TduvallTexas. I am sorry to hear you experienced this issue.

Our engineers are aware of the issue and it is in the process of being prioritized/investigated. Although this is being actively looked at, we do not have an ETA for resolution at this time.

In the meantime, there is a workaround you can use to get you up and running. Here's how:

  1. Using a different Intuit ID to log into the QBDT file before attempting to run payroll.
  2. Deleting the QBW.ini from the computer running the QBDT software and attempting to run payroll again.
  3. Perform a Clean uninstall/reinstall of the QBDT software.

I know that this was reported last June 2, but I'd still suggest contacting our Customer Support Team for any updates. You may follow the steps I've shared above to reach them or click this link: Contact Desktop Payroll Support.

Furthermore, I added this article for more details on utilizing payroll reports in QBDT: Run payroll reports.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to fix this. If you have any further questions or if I can be of any help, don't be afraid to leave a remark. I'm always willing to assist.
