At this time, we haven't received any update if the QuickBooks Pro Timer will be back to QuickBooks Desktop 2023.

As mentioned by my colleague MirriamM above, there are some features that are no longer available in QuickBooks Desktop, and it includes QuickBooks Pro Timer. 

I understand that having this feature can help import your timer activities. As an alternative, you can consider looking for a third-party app. To do so, you can visit our QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace,
