Hi there, @GiF. I'm here to help you locate and update the work location of your employees in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Since you're having trouble locating the Work location option using the steps provided above, you can also update the information by accessing your employee's profile. Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Payroll menu and click Employees.
  2. Then, select the name of your employee.
  3. In the Employment details section, select Start or Edit.
  4. Next, look for the Work location dropdown and select Add work location or select an existing location, then click Save.
  5. Search your address. If you're unable to see it, select Enter manually.
  6. Input your work location address, then click Add location. Please know that this must be a physical address and not a P.O. Box.
  7. Once done, select Save.

In QBO, you'll also have the option to invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce they can see their pay stubs and W-2s online any time they need. To do so, refer to the steps in this article: Invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce
