Hello, @paulettem. Let me provide some information about the Undo reconciliation option in QuickBooks Online.
This feature is only available in QuickBooks Online Accountant. We can invite your accountant to perform the process. If you don't have one, we can use our Find-an-Accountant tool to look for an expert near you.
Once the accountant accepts the invite, they can start undoing the reconciliation.
On the other hand, you need to edit each transaction to undo the reconciliation manually. Here's how:
- From the Bookkeeping menu, select Chart of accounts.
- Find the account and select Account history.
- Search the transaction you want to unreconciled.
- Go to the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you'll see an "R."
- Select the checkbox. It changes the letter in the box. Keep selecting it until it is blank to remove the transaction from the reconciliation.
- Click Save once done.
