I can see how helpful it would be to be able to sort the payment method.

 

Currently, we haven't received any reports about the issue you encountered. Have you tried the verify and rebuild steps shared by my colleague above? If so, yet, the same thing persists, I'd suggest reaching out to our phone support so we can investigate this further.

 

You can contact them through the Help menu. Then, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
