I am having this same issue and have been for months.  Takes forever to import transactions and then when I start typing the vendor (known vendors in my list) it autofills with account names, not vendors.  I can't find a resolution online so I manually copy and paste each one to get around it.  Terribly slow but I also do not want to switch to the online. version.
