QuickBooks Online (QBO) allows you to edit bank deposits. You'll just need to go to the bank register and edit the deposit from there. Here's how:
- In your QBO account, click the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
- Find the bank account where the deposit is associated. Then, click View register.
- Locate and select the deposit transaction and click Edit.
- Make the necessary changes you want and select Save and Close.
After making changes to a deposit, please know that this process is recorded in the system. Use the Audit log feature to learn how QuickBooks tracks the changes.
You may also want to view the status of your sales transactions in QuickBooks. You can go to the Sales menu and select All Sales.
