Let me help you delete the product or service item in QuickBooks Online (QBO), dogguc-hotmail-c.
The option to delete a product or service item is unavailable though an item was not used on any transactions. However, we can inactivate it, so it'll not be listed on reports and transactions. If the item was incorrectly entered, you still have the option to edit it. Let me show you how:
- Go to the Sales menu and select Product and Services.
- On the right side of the search field, click the filter icon.
- From the Action dropdown, select Make inactive.
- Press Yes to confirm.
To reactivate an item later on, just follow the steps below:
- Go to the Gear icon in the top menu.
- Choose Products and Services.
- Select the Filter icon.
- From the Status dropdown, tap All and then, Apply. This shows you all of your active and inactive items.
- Find the product or service that you want to reactivate.
- From the Action dropdown, press Make active.
