in the end I gave up - and got an accountant. This Roadmap stuff is fantastic but incredibly behind the times, especially given the prominence of TurboTax and QuickBooks.

It turns out that my accountant can't even automatically download my accounting information from QuickBooks - as discussed in this thread they do the importing via excel.

Seems like the emperor has no clothes - where are the Intuit marketing people? Do they have any influence or say over IT designer implementation plans?

Talk about a company preparing the meal so another company can come in and eat their lunch...
