I understand that it's quite time-consuming to manually add transactions in QuickBooks Online. As I've checked, we haven't received any similar issue about this. QuickBooks should allow you to import your downloaded bank transactions even if your bank is connected.
Can you share the full name of your financial institution so that we can double-check it? Any information you provide will help us in determining the best course of action for resolving your issue.
In the meantime, you can try opening your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using an incognito window. You can use the shortcut keys provided by my colleague above. Alternatively, you can use a different supported browser to further isolate this.
Also, please ensure that your CSV files have the correct format if you already downloaded transactions from your bank. See this article for more details: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks. Then, you can follow the steps to manually import your transaction in QBO: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Once everything is in order, you can visit this resource so you'll have a guide to ensure your transactions are put in the correct accounts: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
