Thanks for joining this conversation, @Stephbrown1.

Allow me to chime in for a moment and help fix the issue you're having when using the WebConnect feature in QuickBooks.

Just to confirm, are you using QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)? If so, let's perform some troubleshooting steps that can help us isolate this.

To start off, try opening a sample file, then create a new bank account and use the WebConnect. This helps us identify if the problem lies with your company file or with QuickBooks itself.

To use a sample file, here's how:

1. Launch QuickBooks, then from the No Company Open window, select Open a sample file.
2. Choose any sample file on the list.

Once opened, you can now create/set up a new bank account. Here's how:

1. Go to Banking menu at the top, then pick Bank Feeds and Set Up Bank Feeds for an Account on the drop-down.
2. Enter the necessary information.

After that, import your bank transactions using the WebConnect feature. Here's how:

1. Go to File menu and pick Utilities on the drop-down.
2. Select Import, then Web Connect Files.
3. Choose the QBO file you saved, then Open.
4. Click Use an existing QuickBooks account, then Continue and OK.
5. Now, go to the Bank Feeds Center to review your transactions.

If it works, your company file might be damaged causing it to shut down when using the feature. To isolate this, let's run the QuickBooks built-in diagnostic and repair tools called rebuild and verify data utilities on your main company file. These tools comb through, repair, and notify you of data damage within the file. Here's the helpful article with the detailed steps on how to do it: Resolve data damage on your company file.

That's it! Please let me know how it goes or if you're referring to something else in the comment section below. I'm always here to help should you have any additional questions or concerns. Take care and have a good one.
