Hi there, 

Do we need to convert the bank transactions excel or CSV file into .QBO file format to be able to import it into QB Enterprise 2021?

In QB it looks like we can import excel files (utilities - import -excel) but when I do mapping it doesnt give me option to chose transactions, just costumers, vendors or accounts.  

Someone (very known for QB lessons) on youtube said we need to convert it into .QBO file format. Was he just advertising the converter software or indeed we need that?

P.s. please do not tell tell me how to connect direct to bank or to use any other method. I have the data in excel files already - bank statements with description date and amount.
