I'm familiar with the process you've provided, however it does not answer my question. I understand how to manually correct the missing bank account. Allow me to further explain my question:

 

The receipt snap feature automatically recognizes my credit card transactions and links it to my credit card account in QuickBooks, as the last four digits of my credit card are also the last four digits of the associated "bank account" in QuickBooks. This however is not true of my checking account, as the last four digits of my debit card are not the same digits as the last four of my checking account number. I assume this is why QuickBooks is unable to automatically match the receipts to this account. Is there any way to correct this?
